We made page 1 in Google

Just to let all you know that http://www.forumcontests.co/ hit the top of page 1 on Google for "forum contests" today YAY !!!

So what better of a way to plug your contest or competition than with the top ranking forum contest site in Google,

my wife just did the same search and got the same results as me, and she has visited the site once from google search so does it go on ip address ?

I'm pretty sure it must go on IP. I had a similar issue

it's dependant on your search history and how much you use your own site, not on the ranking for it 🙂

Yes it will change for users based on past searches. If you want to really know what you ranking is check it in Google Webmaster tools: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools

It may take a couple of weeks to start seeing results but once it does it can help you tweak your site for SEO.

But nonetheless I have searched for your forum once and its on the bottom of page one for google.

If you've clicked on the link, you move up on the ranks for yourself. Furthermore, "forum contests" only has 880 search terms monthly, it's quite minuscule and useless.

That's correct. You rank is higher when your logged into google. Happened to me.
