I understand the plight of workers, especially since nobody wants to work these days and I understand the low wages. However, someone is to blame and it's a big problem when the drinks at McDonalds or wherever are so weak. I suppose nobody complains about it. Well, maybe they don't want to be seen as a complaining jerk, lol.

Anyway, though, especially at movie theaters or high price family restaurants, getting a weak soda is a letdown and a rip-off.

Are you talking about low carbonation? Isn't that because they don't put in a new tank or change the pressure on the valve to increase carbonation?

Not sure what you mean by weak soda? You mean 3rd party off brands?
I'm guessing he means watered down. McDonald's waters down their drinks and sometimes I'll order a coke because it's watered down and it's less acidic.

Ice cubes does that, which is why I tend to get my stuff without ice if I remember it.

They should do that regularly - unless there is some supply-chain problem going on, as is the case with many things lately.

I don't drink pop anymore but I do remember getting it out of fountains or at restaurants & noticing the taste is not right. Like it was weaker, an off brand being labeled as a name brand.

I've read articles that claim fountain soda tastes better than canned or bottle, but I beg to differ honestly. The taste of fountain soda fades so fast it's not even funny.
