I started running forums 20 years ago. Had a plethora of communities, have done a lot of forum work, web design, graphic etc. Immigrated to the US, had to restart my business 3 times in the past 9 years. I have a 8 year old daughter, who's also taken a lot of my spare time (well, cannot complain, kiddo is amazing 😀).
Right now I am doing well with my online marketing business (needed to register another business, after moving to New Jersey), but I still miss forum life and having an actual community. There are no plans with this one, I am not really interested in monetizing right now, as I earn a decent income from SEO anyways. I do have the funds to grow it, though, which I hope shows already: premium theme, a team of posters to make it interesting etc.
I plan on adding more stuff (some resources you might consider nice), maybe even run a contest this winter ... we'll see.
Why should you join the millionth webmaster forum?
It's going to be a pretty "upscale" community. I have 2 decades of experience and a truckload of knowledge to share. I hope to be able to gather a nice community, of expert webmasters, so that we can also grow a nice group of new admins and get them up to speed. You can promote your stuff there, we welcome competing admins (we can grow together) and maybe some of you will also get more jobs / projects, as we make the forums bigger.
Take a look and feel free to join.
