The Web Hosting Offers (WHO) forum is a great opportunity for hosting companies to showcase their shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and more. With many webmasters active on Forum Promotion, there’s a good chance one might become your next customer.

However, to ensure fairness among hosting providers, we’ve introduced new guidelines. Bumping your thread without adding any meaningful content is no longer allowed. Nor is a literal copy paste of the previous post just to bump it up.

As of February 2, 2025, please follow these guidelines:​

1. Bumping Rules​

• You may bump your thread once every 72 hours if no one else has replied.
• A bump is defined as a reply made when you or a staff member of your hosting service has the last post.
• Instead of posting "Bump," add value by sharing:
  • New features or promotions
  • Customer testimonials
  • Service improvements
• Do not ask others to reply to your thread just to bypass the bumping rule.

2. Offer Requirements​

• Clearly list your pricing, features, and any limitations.
• If a promotion is limited-time, include the expiration date.
• Be transparent - if there are hidden fees or restrictions, disclose them.

3. Community-Exclusive Deals​

• Custom deals made specifically for Forum Promotion members may be eligible for a sticky. You will need to contact an Administrator.
• If you'd like your offer considered for a sticky, mention it in your post and ensure it’s exclusive.

4. Professionalism & Conduct​

• Keep discussions professional - no trashing competitors.
• Answer potential customers' questions politely and accurately.
• Avoid excessive self-promotion outside of the WHO section.

5. Compliance & Enforcement​

• Threads that violate these guidelines may be edited, removed, or locked.
• Repeated violations may result in restrictions on posting offers.
