As far as I know, we can't take the content/database of our forum hosted for free out of the host. So in this case, I doubt you will be able to transfer your forum from ProBoards to another host. What you can do is to upgrade your forum into paid hosting, not free hosting like what you're using at the moment. Perhaps by doing so you will be able to get more options at your ProBoards control panel. Consult ProBoards team about this.
What posts before you mean is that by getting an independent, paid host, you will have access to files of your forum, not just Administration Control Panel. There you can edit the codes directly, upload or delete files, whatever you want. Basically, a complete control over the tiniest detail of the forum. This is what free forum hosts usually lack, since it's free.
