Creating a news forum focusing on POTUS/Trump entitled Trump Today. Good idea or bad idea?

I know the man gets a lot of flack for what he's done and who he is but, you can try if you want, but just as long as you keep the discussions light, and that it doesn't attract the wrong crowd also. One forum I knew had a section dedicated to the man and discussions there were always kept under control.

Name of the forum maybe? Fortnite is big and I doubt there will be allot of forums out there already that's about Fortnite. And since you know what forum you want to do! so what's your help?

One issue I see with it is that it has a clearly marked limited lifespan because once he leaves office, he's likely to disappear off of the radar like ex presidents tend to do after leaving office so you won't have anything to talk about in regards to your main subject which will pose a problem for you down the road.

Site is good til 2020-2024. I read somewhere that Trump might run for re-election in 2020.

I like Trump, but I don't like his negative connotations. I understand why he's doing negative speeches, rallies, interviews, etc... It's a marketing strategy. However, at the same time, Trump's work has attracted negative attention from the other side of the world. Including rogue Russian bots (Putin is claiming he didn't rig the 2016 election, sooo...)

His work has also attracted SJW's (Bannon's fault, though), and whatnot. Right now, media companies in all stages (blogs, magazines, news outlets - streamed or televised or otherwise, forums, etc) are suffering from 95% of all of this trolling.

I wouldn't do a Trump blog or forum if I were you, even though I voted for him myself. I'm sorry, but right now, news and forums are a confusing place to be in. I'd rather write about games, tv, wrestling, or something else. Because right now, Trump is actually employing something that's called cheap heat. Don't believe me?

My advice would be to start one topic, provide a list of ideas, and ask specific questions about the viability of each of those topics. As I see it, you have so much you want to do that you are sacrificing quality for quantity. The thoughts, ideas, and posts I've seen are all over the place so truthfully I don't see it succeeding. Not because the content (I wouldn't visit, Trump is an embarrassment), not because of the platform (social media trumps [HA] forums for political discourse so your audience is most likely limited), but because your ideas are so fractured that I don't see commitment with the idea. So, my vote goes to bad idea.

Look at combos like MusicChat - something like that. Maybe you'd want a combo of post and music videos. Also, if you're not just wanting a .com, then you have more options.
