Webflow has just been launched and they advertise themselves as 'better than Wordpress'. They seem really good, but I don't know what area they consider themselves better than WordPress/ With the statement they advertise with, they could be saying they are better at making a cup of coffee.....

They are good though and I like them, I don't know their stance on plugins though. They better be good with plugins, because Wordpress are really good with plugins

I stick with WordPress because WordPress has a lot of custom themes, plug-ins, and widgets.

Webflow looks pretty good.

I've always loved Wordpress. It's powerful and has hundreds of plugins readily available to download and apply to the latest version. They also have a ton of themes. I'm not sure how webflow could compete with that.

Wordpress wins. It has page builders that make it easy to make your page anything you want.

However I'm not denying that Webflow isn't epic.

Wordpress has been around forever and is constantly getting new things. Nothing can stop WP!

Moved to a more appropriate forum. 🙂

Hmm, that's a pretty bold claim. I really like their design though, I might do a test install and report back on how it compares to WordPress. I do have to say though, being already established with developers and plugins gives WP a huge advantage.

Both are good, but Webflow doesn't support Firefox for developing. I mean, seriously? Firefox has been widely regarded as one of the best (if not the best) in developing. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that their development kits and the browser overall is much better than all others, and they don't support Firefox? No wonder that they are not getting as many as users they should.

Wordpress all the way!

I've never heard of Webflow until now. Seems a little more for people who are more skilled on the developer/coder side vs Wordpress for anyone really.

Considering how new Webflow is to Wordpress. Wordpress would be the better bet mainly due to the community it has and the huge amount of plugins it has to offer. Webflow looks nice don't get me wrong, but Wordpress will be remaining in the front and must use software for CMS / Blogs for many years to come. It is still up to the individual though some may not really care about plugins at all and just like the main features. So Webflow may be nice for a few.

I stay with Wordpress, There are more plugins and themes that support it. There are allot of people that know how it all works. Wordpress works great with other forum software that they support.

Webflow is something that is new, and if I had time I go out and test it or at east start getting ideas om plugins

Better than Wordpress? Yet their design system only works for Apple Safari, and Google Chrome. Not Firefox. I can do everything on a Wordpress site using Firefox.

well that sucks then if it doesn't work on all Browsers.

WordPress wins the round
