Basic Review
Site Name: Webmaster Dojo
Site Type: Webmastering, Marketing and Services
Age: ~3 months
Appearance
The forum looks very clean and nicely put together. I like the forum header's design and the logo, I think you could've slightly found a better way to blend it in with the overall forums look and add some more blue to it instead of the different hues of orange. The pages look very organized and are full of good content. One more thing I would suggest in this section is adding a favicon, just a small icon to represent your site (probably a dark blue chat bubble like the ones used both as your forum icons and your site logo). That would put the icing on the cake. You really optimised your features on the site and there's very minimal white space leftover so you did very well in terms of placement.
Layout
As far as appropriate number of forums go and the types of forums, you've covered all the bases necessary for a good webmastering forum. You used a good spread of forums categories to accommodate the topic of your forum. So far, there's really nothing to improve in this section except maybe adding something like Packages and Reviews in the "Website Promotion" Category. Just something typical you could add to improve the forum's functionality. However, you'd of course need staff for such a forum to be used, so I'd suggest maybe starting out adding a member to member feedback and such. They're all very useful to an extent and have just the right amount for the amount of activity.
Statistics and Activity
Your forum has 3,913 posts from 217 members which is approximately 18 posts per member. In light of this, you have a good amount of members seemingly interested in the forum and are well-rounded. There's about an equal amount of posts in each of the forums so the place seems very versatile and flexible. There is though a huge chunk of members who have no posts and have only registered so if you can, try contacting them a message (Being persuasive keep in mind!) telling them to come back whenever they can and really try out the forum for what it is. Activity in this case is pretty balanced, and there's always at least 5 people online at a time whenever I look there, so there's plenty of opportunity.
Content
In the main forums, the content seems pretty good and pretty clear and specific. The quality of the posts are overall adequate and there are a wide variety of topics to choose from which gives members a very high chance of responding. As in other areas of the forum, its similarly just as good. No spelling and grammar errors as far as I was concerned, and posts had a pretty average length of around 1 to 2 sentences long.
Organisation and SEO
Judging it's only about 3 months old, it's reasonable the PR of your site is so far, 0. There's definitely some improvement to be done there and with a .com domain you can do a lot of things so be sure to take the biggest advantage of it! Your Alexa rank is 1,192,340 which is actually not bad at all. It's even better that at this age you have 43 sites currently linked in so keep up the good pace. Upon research, i don't think the actual forum showed up when I typed "webmaster dojo" until about the fifth search. Also keywords like webmaster marketing, seo , and webmastering forum didn't have your site in any of the first few pages of google or bing. You've got some work to do so there's always room for improvement here.
Words from the Reviewer
Overall my thoughts are that it's going to be a success in the future; all it needs is a little boost. Keep at it and the hard work will eventually pay off! I think the name itself is pretty innovative and original so it's pretty unique in that aspect. Good luck to your forum and thanks for submitting this review!
