I am selling an established webmaster forum. The reason why I am selling Webmaster Lounge is due to the lack of time and interest. I much rather Webmaster Lounge to be in the hands of someone interested in running a webmaster community. Webmaster Lounge has great potential as the traffic has grown each month along with the Alexa rank and backlinks. Webmaster Lounge has over 10,000+ Threads/Post with over 600+ members. The community isn't really active and the forum has no current staff members other than myself. Which, can be good for you as a buyer, you won't have to deal with an already active staff and member base that may backfire on you. With the right owner and staff team, Webmaster Lounge could become a huge community for webmasters and I don't want to let it dwindle away. A lot of time and hard work has been put into Webmaster Lounge and I refuse to let that go to waste.

Also, time that I've put into WL, which can seem almost as if it's a second job and I think many of you can relate to that.

Right now I'm only using Google Adsense. Though it does not bring much in but I believe my Google account had been penalized in the past. I've had the same account for about 8-10 years. From Google Adsense I've earned $80.00 this year. But like I said, my account may have been penalized.

I've had more success and more clicks for the FOTM and SOTM winners. I can post a screenshot of all the ads which shows the views and clicks from the MyBB plugin that I'm using.

Also, if anyone would like, I could post an updated screenshot of last months and this months stats. It's been climbing steadily.

I have been on the site before. Its a nice forum and you should not sell it. You say that your losing interest in it, can you be possibly confusing that loss of interest with a bit of Admin Burnout? You are the only one running the forum so why don't you get a few mods to help out and give you a bit of away time now and again? Getting mods is pretty easy and you have to trust a few people on the most basic level to give a hand at some point.

There is nothing a basic mod can do harm to on a forum or that cant be fixed on the fly. Post that your looking for mods and pick your trusty high posting members that your familiar with and train them as a basic mod. Get a couple of them. Many people love to mod and help out. They might even draw more people in and post more since they are your staff. You'll get a break from doing all the work yourself. The lightened workload may help you get back on track.

You stated you are concerned about the site, so the spark is still there, and you don't want it to fall in the wrong hands. It is your little baby as you care about its well being. The forum is already established and looks nice overall. There is no reason to get rid of something you care about and spent much work only to have regrets after the sell

Take a few breaths and step back a bit. Rethink about what your going to be doing, or better yet, the loss of something you spend a lot of time building and cared for. Not to mention a community that is familiar with you. On an established board they have not only become your members, but I am sure many of them have become your friends over time.

Either way, just don't stop caring for your board. Step back a bit. Let some mods pick up a bit of slack so you have time to regroup and get refreshed.
