Appearance
The appearance at first sight could be very much improved! In order for people to comprehend what's in front of them, it needs to be displayed in a format that is easy on the eyes, and simple. I'd first suggest something a bit more sleeker. The logo is good but it could be improved as well. It's just a bit too simplistic. Why is the red tiled background the way it is? Make sure all aspects of your site go together! In other words, just use the same colors throughout, and it makes your site a lot more professional. Try out some more fonts to see one that fits your site a bit better because it looks like you're just using the default one. It needs some more creativity and customization. Either the white background box needs to be wider or the text needs to be wrapped; the text is coming off of the page that makes it hard to read when it goes out of the boundaries. Try to expand a little as well; everything is on just one page. The same goes for when you get the search results: the text runs off to the side, so try to fix so all the text is visible and easy to read. Otherwise, it just looks a bit minimal right now, appearance wise. Experiment with a couple of ideas.
Layout
As mentioned, the main issue is the text that is running off into a tangent. The overall organization of your site is a bit lacking. It'd be nice if all the information was presented in a more orderly fashion, maybe in columns and rows. Or what you could do is put the search box (the domain one) on top of the static navigation bar so it's a lot easier to find and a bit more convenient to your guests. It's the little things that count. Plus condense a little. Don't make the page so wide! Just not so much that it clutters everything. Try not to also put your "News" and "Updates" right next to each other because when you click on each button in the navigation bar, it points to the same area, which makes one of the buttons pointless to use.
First Impressions and Interest
My first impression of the site was a little iffy, but then that's completely understandable for a site that's only been up for 2 days! There's a lot you can do with it which is a good thing. It just needs to be a bit more unique! Right now it looks like a conglomeration of several things pulled together. What definitely could help spark some more interest is just make sure your text is organized and add some images to your pages!

Since it's not a forum, there's not too much to describe here. What I will say, though, is that people like to see information! It would be very helpful if you further developed what your site was actually about. This not only helps bring more visitors but it fills up your pages! Right now, there's just a lot of blank space that could be used for something. Lastly, I think there were a couple of typographical errors ("Webscanup is places to.." should be "Webscanup is the place to..." and don't forget to capitalize your website name in the Contact section).
