As I mentioned in my other thread, we're redesigning our site and we've thought also of improving our system and site security. We want to make sure we're increasing our sensitivity to hackers and prevent further damage it can cause. Hackers are mostly concentrated on shopping carts, forms, login pages. So we want to look for more advanced scanning techniques and apps that will perform effectively in adding security to our site. Do you use any special app to address this matter or do you just rely on online web scanner? Thanks.
Recently our system has been hacked also and it damaged some of our devices. They have deleted most of our data good thing we have backups. It seems that regular scanning does not necessarily guarantee your system’s security so we implemented vulnerability scanner from Beyondtrust.
I mostly use CloudFlare for their CDN aspect and not their spam prevention, and using other types of checking through DNSSEC would be very helpful as well. Think of more than just website hacking, try to prevent anyone from changing the DNS, Nameservers, etc.
