Of all the websites you have visited in the past, which ones are no longer live and that you miss the most?

UpperDeckKids.com, UpperDeckU.com, ToppsTown.com, etc. All sites I played on as a kid/teen that no longer exist.

What type of websites were they, like Habbo hotel type sites or just games?

The first forum I ever joined, on a site called CheatingDome, always holds a special place in my heart. It really introduced me to forum etiquette and just really sparked a lot of things in my life that I still continue to do today (writing and graphics and my interest in forums).

Also thought about 625 Sandwich Stacker from Disney. I remember playing that a lot in elementary school during recess when we had to have it indoors. Technically, the game still exists on third party sites (I played it a little bit before making this post lol), but it's definitely a throwback from my childhood.

I miss Titans Go, it was a Teen Titans fan website and forum. I also miss Glitch City Labs, yeah the wiki is up in some form but the forums shut down and they moved to Discord unfortunately. :\ I also miss Emucation, it was a community based around emulation.

I miss Stick Death. My friends and I from school (in the early to late 2000's) used to frequently visit the site. I was disappointed when it was taken offline.

Oh wow you just brought back a memory! I forgot all about stickdeath!

Back in the 90's, someone showed me a site called GoreGallery.com which had some pretty gruesome pictures. I don't miss it by any means, but out of curiosity, the other day I tried to look it up. It's gone.

I remember a forum that I use to participate in that revolved around the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini.

Sadly, the forum was attacked and the staff decided to not keeping running it/get it back up and running. It's hard to remember the exact details because it's been so long ago.

Habbo hotel is back around. They recently brought it back in July.

Does anyone remember Digg and stumpleupon? Digg was quite popular back in the day.

That reminds me of Rotten.com, that site is long gone as well too. I don't think I ever browsed it but I remember my cousins talking about it back in the day. Another site I forgot to list above that I miss was The Walls Have Teeth, it was the forum attached to the website called abandoned but not forgotten. The website is still online but the forums were hacked, then it did come back online for a bit and eventually just shut down.

I also remember a forum called Atrium........I miss that forum too.

Postloop it was a great site for forum owners to gain quality content.

I remember Atrium! I feel like I wasn't super active on it because I was splitting my time between a bunch of other forums, but I definitely remember spending some time on there when they were around. Sad to hear it's closed. 🙁

Same here. I was trying to divide my time up between a bunch of places and didn't get to spend as much time there as I probably would have like.

Oh, that’s a tough one! I miss the excitement of old community forums where you could connect with people who shared your passions. Those cozy little corners of the internet had such a sense of belonging that you just don’t find anymore.

I loved Atrium! I believe @Cedric was part of the staff there. I know Reverie was too, but I haven't seen her online much lately.
I was but only briefly. Biggest mistake I ever made to leave that forum. Nonetheless, it had a great run and formed an awesome community.

Rachael is busy nowadays with school.

So many that have no been shutdown I can't even remember them all 😛
