I've never touched drugs of any kind in my life including tobacco and alcohol (and never will), but I support the legalization of marijuana at the federal level. I realize that it will never happen in the United States as Gimgak said. Marijuana is much less dangerous than alcohol and causes much fewer deaths, but use of alcohol is both perfectly legal and encouraged by many. It would also reduce the problem of mass incarceration in the United States.

I am not ignoring it. Hell I know it can cause paranoia,but that only comes with abuse like anything else. Hell if you smoke cigs all day guess what you can get cancer. If you drink all day you can get poisoned. One thing you also proved yourself is pot and just pot alone cannot kill you like cigs and beer.

Sure if you drive while high you can die due to a wreck,but thats not due to weed alone. Thats do you being dumb.

There is always a possible problem with anything you do,if you abuse it. You eat to much,you get obese and possibly diabetes. Have unprotected sex you risk getting aids. Drink to much water,you risk getting hyper-hydration.

Your perception of people who use marijuana is very clouded. Not everyone who uses it is some drone pothead who sits on the floor not knowing what day it is jerking off all day. A lot of people use it for a high for a little bit, just like cigarettes or alcohol. Man what the media perception of Pot that spreads to people...

I never made that claim, however, I would like to see real stats from you and MissTake on that matter. I'm mostly neutral here, as I think that the best possible thing for the federal government would be to remove the ban on the drug but give states a 5 month or so period to consider legislation concerning the drug. It should be a state matter: what people do in their every day live sin not really a concern of the federal government if it doesn't affect anyone else's liberties.

I agree that it should be a state issue, but if it becomes a huge problem where this state it's legal, this state only a certain amount is legal, this state you can only have __ ounces unless you are a certified pothead, which you can have up to __ ounces, I could see it being legalized in America.

Wouldn't be anytime in the near future though.

Sure I do. I know plenty of pot users. Regardless of whether or not you accept that, it wasn't me who made the claim in the first place. If you would look back a few pages, it was someone else who had originally said pot users are all failures and pieces of crap.
