If someone you loved was killed in front of you, but someone created a copy of them that was perfect right down to the atomic level, would they be the same person and would you love them just as much?
Oh man that is hard. It'd be easy to say "oh its the same person down to the atomic matter so yes!" but
you watched them get killed. You
know that they should be dead. You saw it happen with your own eyes.
I don't think I could love them as much because watching someone get killed isn't something you can forget. I dont think I could mentally handle being in the same room as them.
Does fate exist? If so, do we have free will?
I like to believe that we're in control of our own lives. As much as we can be without mother natures interference.
What does it mean to live a good life?
Whatever you want it to mean, man. For some its to go to college, get a career, find love, have kids, retire, etc. and for others its to travel, see the as much of the world as possible, and finally settle somewhere in the mountains and be a goat farmer for the rest of their days.
I don't think there's really an answer as to why. Maybe its our brain trying to figure things out subconsciously? People theorize that its a window into our subconscious, as our conscious self is what is sleeping.
Is it possible to live a normal life and not ever tell a lie?
Is it possible? Yes. Is it practical? Oh hell no.
