Every week I will post a new thread with series of 5 questions per week that should make you think a little. Because of this, you can take your time to answer, answer them at once, or just pick which you want to answer.

This week's set of questions are:

Q: What do you think would be humanity’s reaction to the discovery of extraterrestrial life?

Q: Will religion ever become obsolete?

Q: If you could teach everyone in the world one concept, what concept would have the biggest positive impact on humanity?

Q: Is suffering a necessary part of the human condition? What would people who never suffered be like?

Q: Does hardship make a person stronger? If so, under what conditions and at what point is it too much hardship? If not, what makes a person stronger?

What do you think would be humanity’s reaction to the discovery of extraterrestrial life?

Depends on whether or not it's threatening.

Is suffering a necessary part of the human condition? What would people who never suffered be like?

Yes. People don't suffer enough usually become spoiled and evil. :bored:

Does hardship make a person stronger? If so, under what conditions and at what point is it too much hardship? If not, what makes a person stronger?

It can in most instances I think, but not always.
