This is the tv series created by Gabe Kaplan who also played the title role of Gabe Kotter, a student who returned to the campus as a teacher this time. This tv series showed the hardship of a teacher in handling unruly students. John Travolta plays Vincent Barbarino, one of the students who is a leader of a group.

I like about any of those feel good shows from the 70s or 80s. However, 50s and 60s stuff, besides The Honeymooners, are usually too vintage to relate to.
