Tropical Promotions was created due to Forum Advertiser being closed, now this is just a start-up until things get rolling, such as (hopefully) a software, hosting and a nice domain name...
As you can tell, this forum is hosted by a free forum host named 'FreePowerBoards.com'...
There's a few reasons why I chose FPB over the others to start this project out...
I hope you like the name and the theme, a nice banner to go with it is in need though...
Tropical Promotions will have a nice and relaxing feeling, sort of like FA did, a laid back and fun atmosphere...

Interesting forum. Firstly, I'm just curious as to how many 'FA Remakes' there are likely to be, as this is the second I've come across in as many days.
Secondly, you don't offer a single service except for the "Advertise your forum and website" section. Without services, it's going to be extremely difficult to entice new members. In fact there are next to no ways to promote on your site except for being able to post a topic.
Thirdly, ads in general but more specifically those which pop up are very annoying, and it does make you wonder how often they'll pop up, and if I were to spend some serious time on your forum how many would be piled up on my taskbar.
Next, you really need a logo. By now prosilver is an eye-sore for any forum user. Fair does you've spiced it up with a reasonable background image although it takes a fair while to load when moving between different pages of the forum. Without a logo the forum looks rushed and unprofessional.
Finally, I'd suggest you get some friends and / or family to help get some decent content going before continuing to promote. At the moment your forum consists of nothing more than a single promotion opportunity, the same kind of topics you see time and time again on forums and gargantuan amounts of adverts.

5): I'm working on creating/starting topics, but I'm still working on the forum itself too... The only reason why I set it up fast and advertising it on here and another place is so the people that are wanting to be apart of the forum can instead of having to wait...

orc: Opera is over sensitive, and in my opinion, crappy... I suggest using FireFox or Chrome...
I have no idea why you choose freepowerboards... I would have gone for forumotion or prophpbb... and I have to agree with everything MhW said, but I don't think it's an FA remake.
My opinion, though it doesnt hold much weight, at least it will hopefully outweigh some of the negatives.
I have joined this forum, my impression is....yes the ads must go, yes i am experiencing a lil lag, but hey my pc is as old a trojan horse so i wont sweat it. In all honesty, FP makes my pc lag....
The site is appealing to the eye, little details i,e the logo will fall into place naturally as you progress. It shouldnt be an issue...and it isnt.
The forum does not scream out "FA" remake what so ever...it is simply another forum offering people an opportunity to advertise their site/forum in the comfort of a community.
