Yesterday I found out yet another person from my graduating class has died. (2010 class)

I got home from vacation to find out my friend Zeb had shot himself with a shotgun after being on Legal prescribed Coke. He had easy access to guns (he hunted a lot) and he shot himself. He was not suicidal but I just dont understand the whole thing. Funeral is Friday at 10am.

This makes like 5 that has died.

So what is it used for as far as medicinal purposes? All I know is that stuff is dangerous if you OD on it.

That's odd. I guess I've always heard of coke being illegal. I never knew it had a medical side to it as well....

I know that before it was made illegal, it was used in combination with wine to treat headaches. I can't think of any other medical uses for cocaine.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Chris. That's disturbing that five people from your graduating class have already died. I hope you're coping well with it. 🙁

It really saddens me to know that 5 out of our really small town have just vanished..Its like it's a curse on our town. We all know each other in our town and we are all family since we can just drive down the road and wave at everyone because we know them. Makes me wonder who will be next...

Wow, you shocked me. I had to read your post 3 times before I got it.
This is just horrible, I can't even imagine what would I do if one of my classmates would die (we graduated this year). Well, I had a dream once where one classmate died in some car accident and even if it was a dream, I felt horrible.
You have my support on this!

Bad thing about your dream..thats how one of my friends died too. He was killed when he was hit by a big septic tank truck.

Drinking wine to get rid of a headache? Thankfully, for those of us who have seizure disorders and don't dare use alcohol in any shape or form, there are better and safer alternatives.

Anyway, Chris, sorry to hear about this. We ended up losing a classmate to cancer about two years ago. It still sucks for me, because while everyone else would just ignore me most of the time, he was one of the only ones who would actually come up to me and start a conversation about one thing or another. Basically, with a few exceptions, the only friends I had were in the LD room (special ed room, for those who are wondering). So yeah, I feel you and it does suck.

Wow chris that sucks, and yeah to quote old krs-one "Crack is illegal because they cannot stop you, but cocaine is legal if it's owned by a doctor." No worse than the legal heroin doctors sell to anyone, two people in my school died last year from oxy.

The only medication I know of in the UK that uses cocaine is Diamorphine, a cocktail of heroin and cocaine, used for pain control?

Sorry to hear that Chris, life changes drastically when you leave school, so many kids wish to grew up fast, life's not so easy as when you're a child, make the most of your childhood years is all I can say :sad:

One of my college mates died in a bike accident two years before. I can't forget that incident till now.
