What was your "Well, that didn't work..." moment?

I like to go hiking and sometimes I take the deer trails or the fire trails and I think I'm going to end up in one spot, and I don't LOL So it was definitely a well, that didn't work moment.

The last well, that didn't work moment for me was when I tried to fix my generator by myself. I was thinking that I've learnt how to do it but I ended up messing everything up. I had to buy a new generator because the other one have been screwed. Yeah, that didn't work out well for me.

We had to give our generator away to our neighbor when we couldn't fix it. He was good at that type of thing and could probably fix it and make money.
