Okay guys, this is a tough question.
One of my friends recently made an unverified paypal account. The odd part was, for his address and phone, he put 0000000. His account wasn't frozen. Then, another of my friends tried it and their account was frozen. My question is, is it possible? Or did his account not get checked yet? Because i'm really paranoid about personal information, and I really want to do this.

Legally you are not aloud to have a PayPal until you are 18. So if your 18, go for it. They are not really going to do anything but if you ever want to change your name, address or anything, it must match your information within your bank account or else it will not let it go through.

And about your friend, his account will get noticed and probably frozen as well.

I made one real account and then another account for interacting with people.

I am 19 (soon 20) and I still can't have Paypal... So being 18 isn't really important...

Putting fake information in will surely get your account limited. Paypal are very strict about these things and will often limit your account just for the sake of it untill you provide them with documents to prove your identity like I have recently found out.

What if I just use it to store money I've recieved online? Also, what would those limits be?

If you want your PayPal account to stay active, use your real information. PayPal is a legitimate company, you can trust them with your information.

Yeah, PayPal doesn't like fake information because they deal with money transactions. They are very secure and you shouldn't feel worried about giving them your info. It's much the same as giving your bank your info.
