Forum Technician​

Position Overview:

• As a Forum Technician at Forum Promotion, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our online community platform. You will be responsible for various technical tasks and providing timely support to address any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Install and uninstall add-ons to enhance forum functionality.
• Create and modify templates to customise the forum's appearance and user experience.
• Monitor website performance to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Create new forums and pages as required to accommodate community growth and changes.
• Manage permissions to ensure proper access controls and user management.
• Collaborate with staff members to address technical concerns and optimise forum operations.
• Create documentation for internal reference and training purposes.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Xenforo 2.x platform.
• Familiarity with WHM/cPanel for server management.
• Knowledge of MariaDB/PHPMyAdmin for database management.
• Basic understanding of SQL (willingness to learn and expand skills).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate via Slack and other digital channels.

You will report directly to the Technology Administrator and work closely with other members of the technical and administrative teams.
