Something I do not see much in gaming forums is a podcast or gaming tournaments within the community. Which I think would be pretty cool.

You need to make the gaming forum stand out from the rest.
I am going to agree. Most gaming sites I've contributed to have closed within the week or within the two weeks of it's launch. Some use default themes. Some don't even have any really good gaming forums.XBLMarket said:

Experienced owners who know what they're doing without needing to ask people the brutally obvious. This is what differentiates those who are successful, with those who ultimately fail.

I would like to see lighter themes(darker themes usually don't attract me) and for the forums, I want kinda like different names. For example, on my forum, another it's for "General Discussion" is "The Lounge".

Criticism isn't criticism if it isn't sometimes negative.
You want some feedback, here. Using an overused theme, generic forums and generic rules that are used by hundreds of other gaming forums.

Simple straight forward explanations for newbie gamers. As an example I'm not familiar with RPG, when I go to an RPG forum I'd like to see a section that explains what's going on and how to use the forum, in a way that a complete newbie (like me) can understand.
