A simple Google search can depict the truth behind the fact that the best of forums were those that were created at least a decade ago. However, many will argue this isn't true especially with respect to the birth of unexplored niches.

Take the crypto currency niche for example, a perfect example of a forum leading the crypto niche will be www.bitcointalk.org , registered, June 2011 and has tremendously grown up on to over 2 million members with nearly 38 million posts in a little over 1 million topics, and still counting

Most forums, in an effort to stay relevant have diversified their niche and run a jack-of-all-trade kind of forum, which still almost doesn't help matters.

My team recently came across a fast growing forum called www.forumine.com and because of the confidence my team has in the domain name, relevance and long term capabilities, we making efforts towards it's acquisition.

We decided to throw this into the air for public opinion regarding the forums that run the forum market as well as the chances of success a new forum has in 2018. Let us know if this is a smart move before we make further commitment of time and investment to this project.

I think people were just looking for bitcoin that days and bitcointalk had the solution for almost all questions.

I do not know which are the best forum list for 2018, questions which get responded quickly is the one reason.

Still, do not know adjacently, how they manage SEO...possible most popular like you mentioned above bitcointalk had read people need and read minds

I wouldn't rather say what's the best forum for 2018. There are small and big community's, I also own two forums myself but it won't be right to say "Baysidegamers is the best 2018 forum"

Each forum/community are different, meaning they have different category/subject, From gaming, webmaster, bitcoin, and history. So my point being that each forums under "gaming" should be picked regards the best 2018 gaming sites. Not as hole.

Forummine.com is basically dead. Far from successful. There's forums a few months old nearing 100k posts already. If you can't get 10k posts in a few months just close it up unless you like talking to yourself and 2-3 close friends.

Regular traffic, 5 to 10 regulars, and good material should do the job even with social media competition.
