I've been back and forth with Starfield, Devil May Cry 5, and Final Fantasy X-2 lately. Just haven't felt like spending all of my time on one game.

Played a little but of MSFS2020 earlier on and just come of CitySkylines 2

Mostly Monster Hunter and similar. But I'm looking into trying Minecraft with the Distant Horizons mod to make the world feel larger.

I actually quit gaming some years ago. I replaced videogaming with coding & haven't looked back. I had 1 slip up 2 summers ago where I played World of Warcraft again...

Context:
  • I take WoW too seriously, get too into it...
  • Slipped up & played for 1 summer and ended up going min/max and clearing out Mythic bosses and damaging my relationships and sleep patterns. No longterm problems, I quit once I realized I was getting addicted to pixels and haven't thought about it since tbh. Quitting again was a no-brainer.

So, I'll stay videogame-free. I play chess, sometimes Texas Holdem, but otherwise no games for me.

I can't imagine completely stopping. Maybe dedicated one/two day/s per week. But in my situation, I live alone, have no job, and barely scrape by off SSI. I can't work normal jobs, and I haven't found any good part-time WFH jobs that don't require college degrees (only have a HS Diploma).

I've attempted learning coding, but its too much for my mind to wrap around, so something in customer service or writing would be best probably, for me.
