What are you doing this weekend?

Today (saturday) I took my daughter to the big park to go swimming. I noticed the streets were filled with cars and there was nowhere to park. We had to park a few blocks away and walk. Apparently they were having a festival called "Fiji Day" where they celebrate all the cultural things about that country. There was people up on stage doing performances and there was lots of little stands set up with food. Fiji food is alright. I had something that was really spicy and bunred my mouth off. It was a fun couple hours. My daughter didnt care and was in the pool the whole time.
Tomorrow: We might go to grandma's house for a visit.

Well, tomorrow (being sunday) I'll sleep in till around 2/3 in the afternoon. After which I'll walk around the house for a while, probably make some food and then slob out in front of the TV with the laptop for the rest of the day.

My day (today, sunday) was great. My birthday was a couple days ago so my grandparents took me and my daughter out to eat. The food was ok. It was a place we havent been to in years and I remember it tasting better back then as compared to now. Anyways someone snuck away to notify the manager that it was my birthday. So Im just sitting there eating my food when the group of employee's snuck up behind me and put a big sombrero on my head and sing me happy birthday (well their version of happy birthday) and give me a desert. Needless to say those are always embarrassing but at least I got a souvenir out of it. After lunch we went out to my grandparents house and went swimming in their pool for the rest of the day.

Unpacking and organizing.. and then we are going to the the store to get bookshelves, paint, paintbrushes, drop cloth, face masks, crown moldings, drawer handles, and storage containers..
I am going to repurpose 2 old dressers by painting them and then changing the hardware on them so that they will have a new look, and then I am going to take the mirror off the back of it and then use the crown molding to frame it. If I can't get the molding in the color that I want to paint the dressers, then I will paint it to match myself.
