What are your favourite types of competitions that you like to see on forums and websites? What prizes do you like to see?

I like to see more unique competitions but not ones based on luck like raffles. For prizes, I always like to see money and forum software licenses is also another good one too.

Personally, I like posting and graphic design competitions. Those are contests that I'm most likely to participate in. Scavenger hunts are fun too.

In reality, I like the kind of competition where the winner is chosen after they've done something creative like write a story or design something.

I like a range of contests, but graphical ones, specifially geared at beginner users, to give them a chance to get more experience and just for fun.

Posting contests can be enjoyable too. Just gotta watch for potiential spammers. 😛

Gaming-orientated contests can be great, but only if you have the game required and are skilled.
