I think there neighbours in my area are really nice. They are great friends of mine and we often do a lot of fun stuff together. My area is a tight community and we have a great bond. We also like welcoming people into our community too. It's real nice, a great atmosphere. What are your neighbours like?

The neighbours on one side run a dog grooming business in their garage. A couple of weeks after we moved in, my cat went into their garage while they had a customer's dog in there. The customer's dog broke the chain it was connected to and chased the cat down the street. After that they've avoided us ever since. That was almost 5 years ago now. lol.
Neighbours on the other side are nice people but we don't see them often.

House I'm in now: Old lady on one side., assholes on the other.
House 3: Douches on one side, never met /saw the other side.
House 2: REALLY nice family on one side, family of assholes on the other.
House 1: Creepy family we never saw on one side, cool dudes on the other.
That's every house in my adult life.

I have had neighbors like that before as well. It's pretty crazy. I guess some people either aren't home much or don't leave home much. 😛
On the right side, my neighbors are drug addicts. On the left side, I live by an artist famous in my state and then a nice family. 😛
I think it's the latter. I'm sure I'd have noticed them leaving, right? Maybe...I don't know.
I live in the boonies. I don't have a house in sight anymore. The nearest person to me is a little bit older (late 40's, early 50's). He's pretty nice and we help each other move stuff and all that jazz. However, my issue with him is he has a thing for fireworks. For real, this guy set off fireworks on President's Day while yelling thanks to George Washington... so yeah. The neighbor on the otherside is pretty rarely around. I haven't talked to him in quite a while, but he's a solid guy.
