I see .co.uk used mainly for UK related things such as shops and places and some UK forum owners use it for their forum but I rarely see the domain used for forum purposes thesedays. I was just wondering if anyone here has a .co.uk domain and why you have it? 🙂
.co.uk domains are great, if you are promoting to a UK audience. Boards.ie is a huge Irish forum, with almost 34 Million posts. The .ie domain is much less known than the .co.uk one, so a .co.uk forum could potentially be very successful.
yeah if your market is in the UK then .co.uk is the way to go, when i'm looking for a company on google for stuff and i see .com i will always not look at it as it's usually American and go for the good old British .co.uk domain
The target audience isn't necessarily just for the UK. The extension .co.uk means that your business is in the UK, but that doesn't stop you going outwith the country.
