I am going to be starting a blog for all the story's I got. I have a lot of people riding and excited for this I need something that I can have multiple custizible pages along with Comment features and more. Do you have any suggestions for the software?

http://wordpress.org/ has a great blogging software called WordPress 3.1 . It supports multiple pages, and comments. It also has a huge library of free and paid themes, and plug-ins.

The WordPress.org user base is probably the biggest user base for blogging software, so it is easy to find free support by posting on their forums.

http://drupal.org/ is also good, but it has a higher learning curve and is slightly harder to use. But, some people claim it is more secure then WordPress.

I would recommend wordpress only if you are going to have a host of your own.

If you are not going to have a host of your own, I would use blogger or tumblr. 😛

I <3 Tumblr!

Out of all the CMS Software's out there, that you can use on your own host, Wordpress is the easiest to use. I have tried a few others like Joomla, and they weren't as easy to modify to add things and making posts and such as Wordpress is.

Wordpress is not a CMS.. it is blog software... Joomla, drupal, mamboo, etc are cms.

Indeed, Wordpress is not a CMS, but by making pages instead of posts, and using a custom theme/template, plug-ins, etc it can behave like a CMS.

Go to: http://wordpress.org/about/
Then look for the "What You Can Use WordPress For" section. It clearly states that it is both for regular blogging, and Content Management Systems (CMS). 🙂

What that means is that it serves both purposes not just 1. What Twitch understood from your post is that you thought it was only a CMS but it can in fact be both.

I got my site up now I have been looken around got it up and all but I am having a few problems figuring it out Is anyone a WordPress expert with Skype or MSN?
