What did you use to make your forum?

What domain did you suse to make your forum? SMF? Invisionfree? Proboards?

I used ZetaBoards to try something new.
For my old one I had IF, but IF seems outdated now.

FreeForums, but were now on paid hosting.

We use phpBB 3.0x (GOLD).

I used PHP BB3.0x (Gold)

Reason is, php is fairly simple to edit. Many [MOD]s are available, and there are currently hundreds in development.

Also, it's generally a nicer feel. The first forum i ever started using was a PHP forum, and i've loved it ever since. ~smile~

You don't have to use a different databases... You could use the same database aslong as you set the table prefixes to something else. -😉-

I used one of my empty servers, my webhosting company has 8 servers and 2 are empty so i dedicated a whole server to the forum to keep speeds up ect.

My setup is Ipb 2.3.x Not posting the exact version as it is a security risk
