What difficulty player are you?

Many games have varying levels of difficulty. Most of these from what I've seen have an easy mode, a medium/normal mode, a hard mode, and a very hard/expert/legendary etc mode

So, in general, what difficulty do you play on?

I always start on the easiest difficulty, even if I know I can handle the medium one, that way my brain has a chance to catch up.

I usually do games on Hard/Veteran to get the most value out of my £40.

I enjoy a challenge. Especially now most FPS are so short now.

I usually put them on normal mode and then play hard depending how hard normal is -lol-

Usually for CAll of Duty I play once on Normal to get a feel, and then go veteran for achievements - Sadly, Call of Duty: WaW was hard even on Normal so i won't do it this time around.

Halo: I usually go Normal, and then with friends take it Legendary.

Anything else, I'm just to damn lazy to play Hard.

I'll usually start with the difficulty before the hardest. So Normal if there's just easy/normal/hard and hard if theirs an expert.

Then I'll play the hardest after that 🙂

To date I haven't found a game harder than Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2... On the hardest difficulty it takes one bullet to kill you 😵

if it's a new game i'll put it on beginner and if it's rediculously easy then move it up a difficulty level..until it becomes easy again when i'll move it up to the next difficulty level.

At the moment on FIFA 09 i'm playing with the difficulty set to "Professional". I'm terrible at defending but pretty good in attack so it normally turns out to be a game that goes from end to end.

For games that require lots of shooting like GTA IV I like to set it to the hardest level, to make it more realistic. I can't stand those games where it takes 10 shots in the head to die, because in real life it wouldn't even take 2. ~lol~

There's no fun in making it easy for yourself...and you'll never progress.

I start with easy. Then I continuously play it until I get expert at it. Once I get expert at it, I go for the difficult level, so it will also be easy for me.

this might sound sad but i usually stick to the easy ones lol but when i get really good at a game then i start moving up ~wink~

I played halo. legendary for all of them
started on easy for halo 1 then legenday and kick ass all the way through

For me, it depends on the game. With certain games, "Easy" on that game could be at least hard on another. Fallout 3 is a perfect example of this.

I always start on easy so I can get used to the game, but if I decide to replay it I'll probably choose a harder difficulty.

It also depends on my mood, sometimes I just want to have fun so I pick easy, if I want a challenge I'll pick hard 🙂

Probably normal mode for me. 😛 If I want I challenge, then I may go in hard mode.

The ones with a secret Extreme mode I hate... they are so hard it drives me mad... lol

It depends on the game really. Some games I just mainly stick to Normal mode.
