What do I have to do to get noticed?

I created Completecoinforums, and I have 20 GOOD members. What do I have to do to get noticed? I make ad after ad here, yet no one ever joins!

Make sure there are a steady amount of posts coming in and advertise like crazy. Once in a while, send a newsletter about what us going on so all members stay 🙂 the main way is to make sure you have a bunch of posts. If you have no posts, then there will be no activity and no members will join.

That's a great start, I'd suggest working with them and getting as much content as possible on to the forum. Also encourage the existing members to recommend the forum to others and to help you promote it. When I say "encourage" I mean do it gently, you don't want them to feel under any pressure or to stop enjoying your forum.

Posting an ad here and not doing much else will not get results. Put a link in your signature, post around and get yourself as a user noticed. Use all the other services we offer and use the exchange section. All helps to get your forum noticed alot more then a simple advertising topic. The more noticed you are and the more users get to recognise you, the more likely they are to check out your site. If you are seen a good member and not a spammer, rude member or trouble maker (not saying you are any of them but just showing how actions can affect how likely people are to view your site) then you will also get much better results.

well, but lets say someone needs at least 100 good posters to join his forum, so if he uses the exchange section, he will have to join 100 forums and make lots of posts in all of them!
I am willing to know a better idea to get 100s of members to join the forum and be active as well.
anyone can share?

Buy a domain and make your site look better than hideous.. visitors might take it seriously then.

Post then post again then after all that post once more. Never stop posting. Don't expect some miracle to happen because it never does. Trust me. Post so much that people have no choice but to be in awe at your post count. Also try duplicate accounts. It's worked for and I'm sure it can for you.

I would say to be very active on other forums as a contributive member with a link in your signature so, when you help someone, they may take a look at the signature and follow it to your site.

20 good members is a great start. I made my Forum 2 months ago and we only have 7 out of 64 members that are active.
