What do my site need?

The thing I would recommend would be to change your theme to a lighter one, because its a forum to help people. So giving a dark theme makes it look gloomy and might not attract people. While a light theme, will calm people and make them automaticly feel welcome.
 
Yes a light theme will definitely make the site more attractive and welcoming.
 
A name for starters, at the moment i see in my tab yourdomain.com - Index page.

A new light theme would be nice, and a appealing banner.
 
Hmm.. I don't know if this is just because I wasn't logged in and viewing as a guest, but I noticed there were not a whole ton of forums to post in. Why not expand the amount of categories you have?
 
Defiantly a lighter theme. And yes some more topics to talk about. And maybe a portal?

The only thing is about the style, This is the only one I could find that looks rely nice and look grate with the banner.

and as for the topics etc, at the mind we are getting more post + topics

You're contradicting yourself badly here. I don't know if this thread is for stuff like this, or just technical things, but that phrase would just put me off. It sounds very childish and unthoughtful.
 
Well I don't understand what your point is really.
Is it tips about looks or saying that looks don't matter in a relationship.
"Come here for beauty advice, but remember! Looks are not everything in a relationship."
Something like that.
 
I think you just need to change banner.
Mid you i was only on it for two minutes.
And possibly resize the wee guy at the bottom of your forum as it think it is massive.
 
I think you need to stop focus on relationships. Your forum is about giving advice to other people when they have problems but to me it look like relationship forum. How about make a forums where people can posts problems there having in life (Other then love problems). This how I think your layout should be.

If you do make your forum layout like that you don't need to use the description I give you since they suck. The only reason I put it there you you know what the forums are for.
