Day after day i get the feeling that i should better close my 2 site and move forward. But still my only interest is running website. But i didn't find success in with my 2 sites.

So what did you do after quitting from webmaster life?

My initial ideas:

1) I am planning to become co-admin or moderator in forums which interest me.
2) Else complete close all the accounts and don't take any webmaster job.

Take a small break from them. Sometimes if you work too much on a site, especially without success, you may get frustrated. But if you really want to go ahead with it, then the idea of being a co-admin or mod on another site can be good

No idea as I haven't quit from doing it.. Even then if you own sites you should take some time off

He does the same thing that one does when they finish the last page of a chapter of a book. They turn the page to the next chapter whether it be from a book or one's life as the two are pretty much the same thing. I haven't quite figured out what that will mean for me exactly but I figure I will find out soon enough.

How can one know there is another chapter yet to read from a book? He sees there are more pages left to turn to.

How can one know there is another chapter of your life yet to write? He sees there are more days of his life left to live.

Thanks for your thoughts and inputs. It is better to take time off and come back with some ideas.

Well you dont have to quit admin websites altogether. I have a healthy balance of running my website, working a fulltime job (i am a cook at a prison). And also have a fullfilling social life, hangin out with the ol lady, going to concerts, dancin at the clubs every weekend, drinking prob more then i should etc hahaha.

From 1999 to 2010 I had this fever of starting the blogs and forums and trying to recruit people to keep them going. Then financial mess happened. And for me things changed. I had to give up domains one after another. And I had to quit sites despite earning few dollars here and there from them.

I work at day job now. And it does not pay that much. So I take on virtual assistance, forum poster and other gigs to help myself. I don't do free gigs anymore and I seriously think kids under 18 or even those above it should be serious about monetization of their forums.

Life is tough when you don't have revenue model for blog and forums. It doesn't hurt when you are under 19 but once you are out in real world you realize freebies will bite you and start breaking you slowly.

I do have a full time job so generating revenue from website is not an issue for me. I think i expect too many things to happen in a short time without doing anything. This makes me to quit and stay away from running sites.
