What do you enjoy most about being a forum owner?

For me, I always loved the interaction between my members, getting to talk to them about common interests, following the daily events going on in their lives and just having friends outside my usual social circle. I love being a forum owner for that reason as it lets me meet people from all over the world, not just within my social sphere. I like talking a lot. And, the good thing about forums is how you can talk with people a lot and complains that you're talking too much as most times those people are on forum to find someone to talk with.

What's your favorite part about being a forum owner? What keeps you coming back daily to your forum?

For my car sites it is all about providing a drama free community for people I know and hang out with in RL.. Car site adult drama is RAMPANT and I'm totally not that way so involving me meant the scene as far as forums was concerned could go back to what was important.. the cars and the friendships..

It brings people together.. people you know.. people you don't know.. that's some pretty cool shizzle if you ask me.

I enjoy talking with fellow members about hobbies and interests, gain friends, and get new experiences as I work on various things. Sometimes they even help to cure boredom and make my day better, haha. And yes, it brings people so far away together in one place because of one topic/idea. That's cool.

i also like making friends and really love to talk about anime series in my forum

Designing and adding features and skins when I want instead of asking other admin/owners if it's a good idea. I also enjoy being in-charge of a community and providing a site that's different/unique than most.

I would have to say that fact that I can create something that I am proud of. I can look at something and know that I did something for others to use and have fun using. Also, it is always a learning experience.

Writing the story i want, in the setting I want, with like-minded people. Being able to correct what's wrong and to experiment.

The fact that i can show people and say that "i started this" or maybe the best bit is how i can help i can say that i helped it grow from a small seed to a large oak tree
