About me. I'm a global moderator for a forum so if you were in my position what would you expect from the administrator?

To lead by example, set the rules straight. And keep the forum in good working order at all times, keep downtime to a minimum.

Everything Flux said, plus: Make a decision and stick to it, I hate 'wishy-washy' admins that make a choice then change their mind 2 days later, then change it back, then ask others for advice. It's your forum, you make the decisions, if you make a decision, stick to it. If it comes back to haunt you then just admit your mistake and fix it, don't linger in the past.

And I also expect dedication, I don't want to see the forum shut down after 1 month of activity that wasn't quite satisfactory. I like admins that can power through. And emerge from the smoke victorious.

Set a good example, good grammar skills, professionalism at all times, listens to the feedback, suggestions and ideas of his/her members and makes the relevant changes. Of course, an active administrator is a must.

This is probably what I would say. Nice post death 🙂

An admin is a leader. He/she should be A MODEL for everyone. An admin is the boss, needs to act like this, without going into 'power trips'. He/she needs to know the technical aspects of forum management, work to improve the forums etc. Admining is not a small hat to wear 😉
