What do you expect in a gaming forum?

I'm made a gaming forum and I want it to be the best. What do you expect in a gaming forum?

Ofcourse gaming discussions, screenshots, game Mods. Game hosting(Weekly tournaments? with prices?)
Game rig case modding, map designing, maybe your own browser game, or even make the forum itself a game. With a cash and rank mod you can make posting quite fun use your imagination!
Skip cheats and walktroughs as there are to many sites for that already

Just quality game reviews, information, content to post to, screenshots, videos, tutorials on how to do thing in a game (walkthroughs) etc. the gaming genre is a hard one so make sure you know what your doing exactly.

Well for a major gaming site to be successful below are some of the what gaming sites have mostly,

Game Discussions/Console Talk sections
Off topic section a long with Graphics section/video section for people to show off their gaming videos. You could even go out of the way and add user reviews 🙂

EMPTY GAMING boards.

It's a shame admins make gaming forums, cause they're suppoer to be gamers ... but don't know how to make interesting topics for each section

haha I have seen that many times on various gaming forums.

I find the idea of general gaming forums a bit cliché myself. There are just so many out there, almost like forum promotion sites. I suggest that a successful gaming site not only be made for discussion but reviews and guides as well, though. If you want to make a good one then make it original too.

Indeed hcfwesker, I'm still on that process. I have my own gaming news ( http://gamingmist.co.cc/ ). I have a gaming section for both consoles and handheld and PC. Installed Arcade System. Also have a section for mods and secrets. What else? Oh yeah, I also have a section for reviews....
