What do you join admin forums for?

Why do you join admin forums? To learn? Promote? Teach others? Would be nice to know 🙂

I only really know of 2 Admin Forums worth joining to be honest, But to answer your question, sort of.. I would join an Admin Forum for the community mostly. There isn't really anything else that I would need to join one for.

No reason really, I just like joining forums. Plus, it's a good way to get your forum around with an ad in your sig.

I join admin forums to promote, but some forum makes me to get involved with other posting too.

I joined admin forums in the beginning to advertise my forum and learn more about managing my forum. Over the time, depending on the community of the forum, if I like it I'll stay around even if I have no more forum to advertise. Eventually it turns into making more friends and learn even more of online communities.

I joined Admin forums mainly to promote my forum and get the name out there as much as possible but of course they have many more benefits such as great help and advise from those more experienced. It's quite funny that 6 years later I'm the one giving advise etc from my experience to new forum owners.

I join admin forums to promote and learn new things aswell as sharing my webmaster experience with others. I also believe there is more to an admin forum than promotion, I feel like there is a community on top of that. 🙂
