What do you like about Proboards?

What’s your favorite thing, feature?
I used it over a decade ago for another forum so I went back to it this time. I like the ease of use. It’s great for those who would like to try their hand at running a forum with being self-explanatory for the most part.
 
I have to say I too, like the dashboard! It's nice having a global account so all you have to do is click register and bam you're registered on a new Proboards forum quick!

That's what I loved about ezBoards, too, one account and you could register anywhere. As much as I hate centralized systems, it is convenient 😀.

I want to say around 2007-ish, it was a powerhouse at the time, far larger than Proboards is today, but it was turned into Yuku which then became Tapatalk...so...long downward spiral for them.

lol, perks of being around so many different forums in my younger days, lol. Was on many, many ezBoards, Xsorbits, Proboards, etc. So many fell by the wayside

I only know Zetaboards & Proboards. Oh and forumotion etc. I did have one semi successful forum on ZB till I sold it.

Yeah, Zetaboards were good until they sold out, they were better as invisionfree, but at least ZetaBoards tried to build something new and unique. Xsorbit wasn't dissimilar from Proboards, the software looked quite like it, but there are some pretty crazy rumours at the CEO and why it shut down, none of which I know for sure to be true, just rumours.

Yeah, very suspicious circumstances, and everyone who had content with them just lost it all. No backups, no anything.
