So what do you look for when choosing a host?

I would choose great uptime and good customer supports. Price is not an important factor to me as if a host is good, I am willing to pay more for it. However obviously it would be good to have a cheap and reliable host. I would say the most important factor is good uptime but technical support is also extremely important.

For me, I never actually spent real money online. In the past I use free hosting like FreeHostingNoAds but.. their support is not good. Now, with ForumCoin (and Bitcoin etc), I am able to purchase some paid hosting. My first paid hosting is with holderhost. Why did I choose them? Well, because their owner (Sam 🙂) is someone I know. If I need help with any technical problem, I could easily get in contact with him.

I'm also using InstaFree, they dont allow registration from my country. And so, I emailed the owner. After having few discussion, he agreed to my request.. That's right, I look for great support in a hosting company 🙂 .

Customers support, cost and uptime are the 3 things I am looking into when I am deciding what host to get. I usually go for the cheap reliable ones and it did work out in the past so I am sticking with it.

Depends, but to be honest I'm always going with godaddy hosting since they are most reliable and have really awesome customer support, therefore domains are cheap as well and they are probably the best solution overall.

I look if it's stable and won't be one of those hosts which just disappear out of nowhere and my sites will be secure with that host.
