The simple answer would be normal day-to-day things that we do not have a choice for. Work hard then eat it since the cost of living is as high as a rocket ship and no money left for the good things. Unless you don't eat anymore Xd
I think that we spend the most on healthcare. We have a pretty high deductible and once that's met, then things are okay, but getting up to that number is hard.
I spend most of my money on domains, webhosting and other online expenses, yet government agencies refuse to acknowledge the money I spend and falsely claim that their employees who do not pay any expenses own my domains.
Food, health care, all kinds of bills, house rent and alcoholic beverages are most of the things that I spend my money on. I even take care of some of my relatives needs too because there's no way I wouldn't support them whenever they are in need.
Ignoring any essentials like food, bills, etc. and focusing on just optional expenses, definitely video games and currently college fees since I'm paying all of that out of pocket.
The cost of living is too high in the city I live in so most of my money goes into paying rent, buying food, and travelling. The rent keeps becoming close to double every year which is insane! One can't negotiate with the landlords at all. They just don't care whether you stay or not since demand is too high. My other expenses are way too low compared to these.
