Hey,

For about 2 months now i have been working on the new version of AT Been taking my time slowly think i am nearly done and about to release of AT.

Please tell me what you think so far

About The Theme

Looking foward to hearing all of your suggestions and further improvements shall me made once i get some constructive advice Only!

If you don't like the theme please fell free to suggest me some that we could use i need a default one before we officially open, Themes dont need to be from the mybb mods site.

I think it looks great and from a beginner admin's point of view, i can't see anything you should change so I may not be the best person to ask but personally i think it looks great 😀

We have tried the best we can and are currently still building on unique features that you wont find on any other webmaster sites.

I feel their are some key topics that are not covered.

I feel the theme is too similar to the default MyBB in the sense of everything is very standard and very blunt.

If anything it needs a logo.

The navigation at the top seems very randomly placed. If it's that small it should be centered or just made to fit properly.




As for suggesting themes, my only suggestion is a custom one.

The colors look nice. As mentioned above it could use a logo. If you need a simple one let me know, I will make you one for free.

The navigation at the top needs to be more centered. The text is centered but you need to have the block or whatever it is centered as well.

Maybe add a point system?

Thanks Kavin did make us a custom theme but not sure if the theme would be powerfull enough to make us successfull?

I can only see that "cool lime" theme and to be honest it looks like or rather is the default theme with 3 custom images and a new background color.

I think you should search around spudster, there is a lot of better themes than that.

You could suggest some personally i think mybb doesent have that many great themes unless its custom thats just my option.

aNyway i have just applied kavins theme that he made for us.

I see the new forum theme. It looks better. Yet if you go to your main page. just admintalk.net. It looks totally different than your forum. In addition, when I clicked the link to go to the forum from there, it sent me to logicalgamers.com

Was Playing With Some Codes Currently its now A Blank page making a maintenance in progress page on my localhost to use instead 🙂

I think Kavin would be one of the best designers in the mybb mods site.

Any improvements the theme may need?

And that is a bug in the theme going to ask kavin to fix that or of coruse i could fix this bug myself 🙂

My old theme? What theme is that? The only MyBB theme ran was custom work.

Also I think you need to drop the whole BETA approach. Thus far you have only shown people adding some forums and changing the style and it's been going on for a long time.

I feel your best be ad this working at out any way is just sit down, ALL day and get the thing together pronto. Just get it done and get it out then market it like crazy.
People are getting put off from your website for the reasons above. I am only trying to say this in a constructive/helpful way but it's the truth.

Im trying to make sure that everything is perfect i do have school to worry about aswill so its nearly impossible to sit down all day and think besides weekends which are my biggest changes then i do need to find a decent theme which we are currently doing now.

But i did get time of today so i sat down and tried all today the theme seems to be still the only issue.

I love how this kid contstantly makes forums, says they're in 'beta', turns them offline for maintenance for prolonged periods of time, and then they never reopen...

And, I honestly laughed my ass off when you said you consider kavin to be one of the best designers on the MyBB mods site, I know a handful of people, including myself, who could create you a better theme in an hour, than he's ever designed period.

I think you will find that I own that theme, I never actually used it. 😛
It was the work of myself and a friend.


I had my last year of school to worry about last year when I started AdminPeak but it shouldn't be in the way. If you cannot manage school and just getting a forum online then you should not worry about it and stick to school. It's going to be ten times harder if it gets active.

Also regarding finding a theme, it would take maybe, MAYBE 2 hours at maximum to look through pretty much every MyBB free theme has been released for free so I don't understand your issue.

Just get one and go with it. Your reputation is getting worse for opening forums and that is seen once more from simply the post above. I'm not saying this to be mean I'm saying this so you can see how the world works and what people think. It's just the reality.

@Connor Forgot to mention theres no need to call me a kid im in Year 11 only have a few more years then forums will be my life 🙂

So its more towards an Adult (Teenager)

Anyway, I have done things in the past but give me chance i have learnt from those mistakes and are planning to patch my reputation up

And if you are better can you give me some of your past work?


Thats the only probablem luckily i only have 2 more years and not 8 or 10 if i wanted to i can leave school now including to the government and im using the mybb Ocean Theme think that looks nice for a Admin Type forum and eXCite is my secondary theme.

Im sure forums take more then 1 year to get huge like HackForums or FP.


PS: I know its been along but we are working on alot of things be paintient we should be back sunday already spent all day working onit lots of hard work.
