They are still family owned, I mean I think they are to the point that E.i.G does not own them, and at this point they are still good hosting providers even though there are 100s out there in the world. Mhahahahaha

Still, they always have competition, don't they? Like any others, it's what they can offer.

I was looking at going with them two years ago! never happen, now that IPS now has V5 going, that's putting me into my thinking caps as the server I'm on doesn't have the requirements;(

what do you think?

I've been using HawkHost to host my websites now for the last 4 years straight.

In that time I have not had any need to engage support but historically when I have there hasn't been a problem.

I have and would recommend them to anyone.

I've been using Hawkhost for 15 years now. I started using them in 2010 and I haven't had any reason to really leave or stop using them. 🙂 Brian and the team do a fantastic job. 🙂

I haven't used it myself buy I have managed websites of clients who have used this web host and I think it is pretty decent hosting company.

I'm going to use HawkHost, but it's going to be like a year away 🙂 not in a rush as of yet, as there have been a lot of delays and things to deal with.

Mainly, the move as my server does not offer an updated database to version 8, rather than being stuck at 5, unless I pay more and go with VPS - however, money is tight, and HawkHost offers it even for their shared-based XD
