Do you think most new to making a forum or website in general make in common?

I personally say the most average mistake is vision. Not many of those that are new really have a vision of what to make so they make something and expect it to simply "work", but normally fall short. They don't think things through or attempt to learn from other experiences first.

One of the most common average mistakes I generally see, would be both the vision, and lack of content enough to attract new registrations without issue.
