We buy Blu-Rays as they seem to be more compatible with our TV than regular DVDs are. I wonder if they will become obsolete like regular DVDs are becoming. What do you think?
As Agent Smith once said to Neo in The Matrix; "You hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability!". Blu-Ray will fade into obscurity because technology, the Internet and most importantly, content will advance towards 8K and beyond. We buy Blu-Rays as they seem to be more compatible with our TV than regular DVDs are. U can't even sell them on for that much anymoreI used to go all out with them buy them at expensive prices but these days it makes me wonder why I bothered... Blu Rays aren't as popular as they were and a lot of the stores in my country that sold them don't sell them anyway. Netflix, Disney Plus etc keeps getting a lot of new content.
