I'm posting to hear your thoughts on a new UI concept I've been working on.
Refer to this topic for the reason why the UI concept is being developed. Basically, the idea is to make forums a lot more approachable to people who don't usually use them.

Here's the UI concept.
A few notes:
- This is both the homepage and the view forum page. When clicking on a forum on the side, it would filter hat topics are shown in the main area.
- Each large post is a topic. Each indented post is a reply. The last two replies which you haven't read are displayed. Clicking on the topic name or "Read More" would open up a regular view topic page.
- There would be an option to switch to a "Classic Mode" which would look exactly like any other forum.
- Clicking the reply box would open up an expanded editor.
Thoughts? Would you use a forum software which looked like this? 🙂
