I'm trying to figure out if I should get a new domain name or not... my current forum and domain is
http://www.iworkatarestaurant.com

let me know what you think..

That does seem a tad long. Maybe you can use the words of the title of the forum in a sort of abbreviation, like: http://www.iwaar.com or something similar. It would be a lot easier to remember as well. That's just my take on it though.

Yea its too long I would say, try something like iwrest.com

Long domains aren't that seo friendly and are hard to remember.

I'd agree that the domain is too long in terms of characters, but not only that it has too many words in it: "I work at a restaurant .com"

Maybe you can use an abbreviation with a full word e.g. RSforum.com

I like the second one better than the first one. The first one sounds like it'd be more suitable for some sort of laundry business or something.

I plead guilty to that one. I always have a tough time with that word and there are at least two letters that I always screw up on. Course, I'm learning disabled, but I think even those who aren't ill have a tough time with that word too.

Personally would change the name of the forum to something elses for the domain. I would take the domain you already have and create a blog about funny things that happen in restaurants or whatever, get something to spread across social networks and promote your forum through the blog.
