What do you want to see?

I had a huge post written up, but I decided I'll share that post with you all elsewhere.

What would you like to see in a forum? What kind of forum would you like to see? About what?
Ask yourselves these questions and post them here.

I will be opening a board/changing a board that will not be as hard to run as past boards I have owned. It will be more relaxed and easy going.

Would you like a board with only two rules? (No warez, no porn)
Or would you like a board with rules to keep everyone in line at all times?

Anyone? Basically, I want to have a forum that I will enjoy running, and that other people will benefit from.

So I just want you suggestions. Right now I am thinking just a general discussion board but there are already many out there.

How about a forum that allows porn.

Yeah I could allow porn, but I would have to switch over to the other hosting plan I am on. However, the one I use the most is available for 2 more years..So I think i'll stick with that.

I will probably just open up a discussion board where the only rules are no warez, no porn...And of course no spamming.

Anyone want to see something in particular?

Warez Linking to be allowed. Download sections attract many users.

Also a free speech section.

My host doesn't allow warez linking. If I was going to allow warez linking I could just set up a DDL on my other hosting..Where people just submit download links, and a title..
Dunno though.

And as for free speech, the whole site would pretty much be free speech. Sure, there might be some debates, but none of it would be removed.

However, I would add a freedom of speech area where any flame wars are removed. People would have to treat that section with lots of respect and be mature.

While I think that a forum should be laidback, I think porn would be a bit too laidback.😀 But actually, it could work pretty well. You'd get 1000 members within one week.😀
