What I love about technology is that in some ways it makes my life a lot easier. I Google things all the time on how to do the home maintenance projects I need to do but aren't quite sure the best way to accomplish them. I'm the fixer upper in this house as opposed to my husband so Google and YouTube has saved me a lot of frustration. Before those came into my life my dad received a billion phone calls!
I didn't see this old thread either!
Technology offers a way to keep in contact with family & friends. To make friends all over the world. To learn DIY, hobbies, to expand your knowledge.
Only thing I don't care for is that we DO have friends all over the world while we don't even know our own neighbors. That's the downside.
Nowadays, it's just about everything. What we do and what we say and act to this day is based around tech, Just talking to people on our smartphones are just like tech.
Most people get up in the morning and their job for most cases what they do is work from their home PC. I mean people can't live without having they're phoned next to them going off every 5mins with SMS or Facebook notifications.
Well, first of all I wouldn't be able to have my cell phone if it weren't for technology. I originally got a cell phone because I want to be able to call someone to come help me in a pinch (like if my car broke down on the side of the road). How would I be able to tell someone I need help if not for having a cell phone?
Second, we wouldn't be here if not for technology, sharing our communities on FP.
Technology makes life so much more interesting. I prefer to play video games, watch tv and interact with people on forums and the internet so without technology I couldn't do the things I like! It also makes life easier too.
