What food have you never eaten but would really like to try?

I would love to try Elk, as there are people who sell elk meat here, but I haven't yet gotten around to buying some to see if it tastes decent.

Lembas bread from lord of the rings. Sounds wonderful to have a snack for a very, very long time.

This reminds me when I got to learn of the bird's nest that it is made into soup. The bird's nest was made from the saliva of the swift bird that build their nests in the rocky cliffs. I was so amused with that story until I had sampled the bird's nest called nido soup in a Chinese restaurant. It comes complete with boiled quail eggs. The soup is quite sticky and nice to eat but not so nice as to what I had imagined.

Eh, I had an attempt of it from someone. I doubt it was made correctly, as it came out way too thick.

I'd like to try the one of the Philippines street food the "balut", I haven't tried it yet even if I spent my childhood in the philippines and I'm curious about the little baby duck inside. Some say that if you eat balut it will make your knees or legs stronger but it can also cause your cholesterol to rise. It's not really surprising as we all know eggs are pretty high in cholesterol to begin with.

Greek food has taken my interest lately, even when I had a souvlaki and gyros which were very nice. I even heard that Greek food is amongst the healthiest in the world. The thing is though, what other delights are there on offer I wonder?
